Painting Fire Hydrants
Event Type: Fix-It Projects
We will be painting fire hydrants yellow between Pacific & Pershing Avenues, north of Robinhood Lane. There are approximately 80 hydrants in the assigned area.
Kid Friendly: No
Paint is provided by the SFD and is oil-based!
Due to the use of oil based paint young children are not encouraged for this project.
What to bring:
1. Cardboard to put under hydrants
2. Wear old clothes and hat/visor/goves if desired
3. WATER to hydrate yourself & sunscreen
4. Rags
5. Bag for garbage.
6. Turpentine for cleaning.
